Should the Born-Again Consort with Blasphemers (West & Harvey)?

YOU SAID: “YOU HAVE TO MEET THEM WHERE THEY ARE.”

The religious slogan that we (the saints) “have to meet them [the lost] where they are” is popular, but it is UNBIBLICAL. Here is why....the saints are in the Light, and the lost are in darkness. The saints cannot meet the lost where they are, because God Himself has intentionally separated us from them, and put a line of division between us. In order to meet the lost where they are, we would have to COMPROMISE, step out of the light, and step into darkness where they are. And it is not God’s will that the saints walk in darkness...not even to allegedly “win souls.” Common sense should tell us that if we fellowship with the lost in order to so-called “win them to Christ”...we aren’t even being a godly witness, because we’re disobeying the Word of God, which tells us that light has NO fellowship with darkness, and not to be unequally yoked (in fellowship) with the lost.

Our duty to the lost is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them, and live holy in order to be a shining light in a dark world. As we share the Gospel with the lost, the Spirit of God will draw those who have ears to hear OUT of darkness, and place them WHERE WE ARE (in Christ, in the Light)! So you see, we do not meet the lost where they are (in darkness) in order to witness to them & “win them to Christ.” They will meet us where we are (which is in Christ, in the Light) IF they repent & believe the Gospel.

YOU SAID: “YOU DO NOT JUST THROW PEOPLE AWAY BECAUSE THEY DON'T LIVE THE WAY THAT YOU DON'T THINK THAT THEY SHOULD.”

First of all, the ONLY standard that I uphold for ppl who PROFESS Christ (such as Glen Staples, Cornell West, & Steve Harvey) is the WORD OF GOD. So it’s not about how MEN think Glen Staples, Cornell West, & Steve Harvey should live. It’s about how GOD says they ought to live. You ignore the fact that I am upholding the Word of God, and falsely accuse me of upholding my own standard.

Second of all, ANYONE that does not repent (turn away from sin & turn TO God) & believe/trust/obey the Gospel of Jesus Christ will be THROWN AWAY (i.e. cast into hell, then the lake of fire).

Third of all, the love of God motivates me to rebuke, exhort, and WARN TOP members so that they might REPENT, believe the TRUE Gospel, & be SAVED. So do not falsely accuse me of tossing stones or condemning anyone, when in fact, I am imploring all of you to turn from your sins, turn to Christ & LIVE! That is called “grace” ....not ‘condemning’ as you would attempt to portray me.

YOU SAID: “THE MEETING OF THE PEOPLE OF GOD IS NOT ALWAYS GOING TO BE ABOUT GOD IN THAT THERE ARE OTHER THINGS TO TALK ABOUT.”

WOW. The Word of God states that fellowship is ALL about God/the Father’s business. I am truly sitting here baffled, that you actually said that fellowship is “not always going to be about God”....there are OTHER things to talk about?? WOW. Christians spend MOST of their time dealing with the things of the world and the cares of the world (bills, fashion, watching TV, politics, the economy, secular education, etc). One would think that when the saints come together to share in their COMMON FAITH IN GOD/JESUS CHRIST, that they would devote this time to HIM...yanno, like the saints did in the book of Acts (chapter 2). But WOW....you are saying that fellowship is not always about God? But there are “OTHER THINGS to TALK about”?? WOW. This is truly amazing and unbiblical. After dealing with the things of the world and the cares of the world ALL WEEK, why would you want to talk about MORE worldly stuff in fellowship? Christ said to seek the Kingdom of God & His righteousness...that would include during fellowship.

YOU SAID: “ONE THING IS TO BE EDUCATED AND THAT IS ONE THING THAT CORNELL WEST IS…EDUCATED.”

Cornell West is educated on WORLDLY matters, not SPIRITUAL matters. He is dead in sin, spiritually blind, spiritually deaf, and his carnal mind is at enmity with God. He is HOSTILE to the true Gospel of Jesus Christ (he called it “the white man’s gospel”). He preaches a racist false gospel of black liberation theology. He cannot understand the things of God, because the things of God are spiritually discerned by the Holy Spirit, which Cornell West does not possess. What can a man who doesn’t know God, teach the saints about God? Oh wait...you said that this meeting will not be about God...”there are OTHER THINGS to talk about.” But if Cornell West is going to talk about “other things,” then why is this conference called a “HOLY convocation”?? Why slap GOD’S NAME on this conference, if the conference will not be about HIM...but it will be about “OTHER THINGS”??
