WoW. You are taking Scripture out of context. This passage is not speaking about WORLDLY knowledge (hello??) It is speaking about knowledge of GOD & His Law. God said that His ppl perish for a lack of knowledge about HIM! & because they lacked knowledge of HIM, He rejected them as priests. Hosea 4:6 says “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” You misused this Scripture to say that God’s ppl perish for lack of WORLDLY knowledge? That is amazing. Cornell West is destroyed for lack of knowledge of God, so how can he teach the saints?
YOU SAID: “BISHOP IS TO TEACH US THE WORD, MAYBE DR. WEST IS THERE TO TEACH SOMETHING ELSE.”
Why on earth do you think it’s okay for “SOMETHING ELSE (besides God’s Word) to be TAUGHT at a so-called “HOLY” convocation? You guys are going to mix the sacred with the secular? That is PROFANE and unacceptable in the eyes of God: “Your priests have violated my instructions and defiled my holy things. They make no distinction between what is holy and what is not. And they do not teach my people the difference between what is clean and unclean.” (Ezekiel 22:26). In Acts 2, we see that the Doctrine of Christ was taught in fellowship. This is standard, and it is desired by those who thirst for righteousness and want to grow in God’s Word. How can you have a so-called “HOLY” convocation where ppl are getting in the pulpit and talking about secular stuff? That is crazy and flat-out unbiblical.
YOU SAID: “AND BEFORE YOU GET TO YAPPING ABOUT WHAT’S GOING ON AT THE TEMPLE…PEOPLE THAT CAN’T AFFORD TO PAY FOR THE CONVOCATION CAN STILL COME, AND SWEETIE, I AM NOT IN A RECESSION.”
You fail to see the huge elephant in the room, which is...why is ANYONE being CHARGED to attend a so-called “HOLY” convocation? NOWHERE in Scripture, did the prophets, apostles, or Jesus Christ charge God’s ppl to fellowship. I am absolutely stunned that you think it is CHRIST-LIKE to CHARGE ppl to attend a fellowship. Glen Staples is making merchandise out of you right in your face, and you don’t even see it. If you are a born again Christian, then you (God’s Temple) should be a House of Prayer...but instead, you have become a den of thieves, and you are being robbed by false shepherds that you look up to. The Lord said “Is anyone thirsty? Come and drink—even if you have no money! Come, take your choice of wine or milk—IT’S ALL FREE! Why spend your money on food that does not give you strength? Why pay for food that does you no good. Listen to me, and you will eat what is good. You will enjoy the finest food.” (Isaiah 55:1-2). In Revelations 22:17 Christ said “The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” Let anyone who hears this say, “Come.” Let anyone who is thirsty come. Let anyone who desires drink FREELY from the water of life.” In Matthew 10:8 Christ said “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure those with leprosy, and cast out demons. FREELY you have received, FREELY give!” God invites us to fellowship with him for FREE, and He will feed, heal, deliver, and protect us for FREE. Yet you see no contradiction with being CHARGED MONEY to attend a so-called “HOLY” convocation? Well….you did say that this meeting won’t be about God…it’ll be about “OTHER things”…and IF that is the case, then you’re agreeing to the methods of a secular conference, which is being CHARGED MONEY to attend and be fed God knows what.
YOU SAID: “YOU MAY BE BROKE, BUT GOD IS SUPPLYING ALL MY NEEDS ACCORDING TO HIS RICHES IN GLORY.”

In the midst of your snide comment, you failed to realize the point: It is wicked and unbiblical to CHARGE money for a so-called “HOLY” convocation.
YOU SAID: “I DON’T EVEN MAKE A LOT OF MONEY, BUT I CAN AFFORD TO PAY FOR MYSELF AND SOMEONE ELSE TO GO TO THIS “UNHOLY CONVOCATION”.
Charging money to attend a so-called “holy” convocation is wrong in the first place. You participate in this fruitless deed of darkness by giving them your money.
