INTRODUCTION
Grace, peace, and mercy be on to you from God the Father and my Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ!
I have been inundated with a multitude of emails from disgruntled Temple Of Praise members and Glen Staples sympathizers within the last three weeks. What I have noticed in these messages is that they all seem to follow a steady pattern, tone, and purpose. In addition, I seem to be asked the same types of questions in varying form:
"Why are you doing this to us?"
"Why do you disrespect the man of God [Glen Staples]?"
"Why are you so bitter?"
"Who did it, who hurt you?"
"What do you think will become of this stunt you've pulled?"
"You know, there are some people who will hurt you over "their bishop?"
etc, etc...
Therefore, I have put together this blog to function as a ‘Q & A’ for those who are curious to know where I stand and why I have done this, which according to the Word of God (not Glen Staples), is a good deed (Eph 5:11-12). I understand that my expose' (on Glen Staples, his theology, and "his" brand of “how to do church”) is unorthodox according to the traditions regarding protocol in the “institutional/organized” church. For hundreds of years, "lay people" have been held hostage by the fallacy that says if they are to ever question, much less hold officials in the institution accountable to the Word of God, God would punish them. CONTRARY TO POPULAR BELIEF, there is NO ordinance in the Word of God, which teaches that only a person with a ministerial "office" (which in actuality should be viewed and treated as a function, but that is another blog…) are the only ones qualified to hold others with ministerial positioning accountable for their sins. That could not be farther from the truth beloved.
Furthermore, I have found that through the centuries, from the time Constantine made Christianity the state religion of Rome in the 4th century up until now, the institutional/ organized church has nurtured a specific depraved mindset that has had devastating effects on the body of Christ as a whole. This catastrophic mindset has become a culture known among many Christians, even if they are not conscience of it, as the “DON’T ASK, DON’T TELL” attitude. I have seen this attitude manifested in the culture and even as a mantra among many who belong to the institutional church system, especially the "mega churches" (which will be another blog coming up soon). This subversive mindset has become pervasive in the institutional/organized church. Consequently, it has greatly injured the faith of many, even to the point of causing total derailment of ones faith in the TRUE Lord Jesus Christ (not that distorted one that ppl like Glen Staples promulgates...).
This attitude/culture/mantra has also lead to departure from the true Gospel thereby leading to the adoption of the counterfeit version (A.K.A. the gospel of licentiousness). This attitude/ culture/ mantra has been the catalyst by which many heretical teachings, practices, and rituals have been established. Therefore, I am making a battle cry in saying--THIS CULTURAL MINDSET MUST BE IRRADICATED from among the people of God. The only way to do this is to expose it and the heresies it incubates.
What I will attempt to present here, is a concise, cohesive, coherent, and consistent response to typical questions like the ones listed above that have been raised surrounding the Youtube videos I have recently uploaded to Youtube regarding the "2009 Holy Convocation" as sponsored by the Temple Of Praise, Glen A. Staples. This will be done to the best of my ability as the Holy Spirit gives me grace and holy wisdom to present a sound biblical response and analysis to the questions raised by "Ms. Jane Doe" of the Temple Of Praise.
"Jane Doe" is merely a pseudonym employed here to protect the identity of a particular member of the Temple of Praise who took the time to send me two lengthy emails laying out her resentment towards the notion of me holding "her bishop" (Glen Staples) accountable for his rogue practices and "personal brand" of the gospel. Please note that the actual email message sent by Ms. Jane Doe, will be posted in its entirety, and UNREVISED FORM in a separate blog at a later time (please look for it).
IN THE FUTURE:
Please look for blogs I will post, in which I will analyze Glen Staples’ theology, the Word Of Faith Movement, Prosperity Gospel, Seeker Sensitive Movement, and the emergence of “new thought,” i.e. “new ageism” in the church. All are concepts that have been espoused by Glen Staples and incorporated into TOP's by laws and belief systems.

I know that God is dealing with someone or not by their FRUIT.
If someone is filled with the Holy Spirit and walking in the Spirit, the Holy Spirit will produce His good fruit in them: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” (Galatians 5:22-25)
If someone isn’t filled with the Holy Spirit and they’re walking in the flesh, their sinful nature will produce the works of the flesh in them: “Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. “ (Galatians 5:19-21)
“You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.” (Jesus Christ, Matthew 7:16-20)
“Either makes the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit.”(Jesus Christ, Matthew 12:33)
“For a good tree does not bear bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. For every tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush.” (Jesus Christ, Luke 6:43-44)

Based on the fruit test set forth in God’s Word…Glen Staples, Cornell West, and Steve Harvey are bad trees (evil men). And Christ said to a group of evil men “Brood of vipers [i.e., children of the serpent/devil]! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.” (Matthew 12:34-35)
Christ asked a group of evil men, how they could speak good things, since they had evil hearts…because it is out of the heart that the mouth speaks. Good men (out of the good stored up in their hearts) speak good things, but evil men (out of the evil stored up in their hearts) speak evil things.
Therefore, I do not need to be psychic to know that Glen Staples, Cornell West, and Steve Harvey will talk about evil things (false doctrine) at the convocation. I can know beforehand that they will speak evil things out of the abundance of their evil hearts. How can they, being evil, speak good things?? Can a thorny bush bring forth figs? No.

YOU SAID: “WHAT ARE YOU REALLY ANGRY ABOUT?”
God is love, and an aspect of God’s love is righteous indignation (holy anger) towards sin, especially the merchandising of His House (the Body of Christ). We see an example of righteous indignation in Mark 11:15-18. It says “So they [Christ & His disciples] came to Jerusalem. Then Jesus went into the temple and began to drive out those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. And He would not allow anyone to carry wares through the temple. Then He taught, saying to them, “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’” And the scribes and chief priests heard it and sought how they might destroy Him; for they feared Him, because all the people were astonished at His teaching.”
-Christ loves the Father, and He loves His ppl…because of this He felt righteous indignation towards the merchandising that took place in the Jewish Temple.
The Jewish Temple should’ve been a House of prayer for all nations, but instead, the religious leadership who ran the temple (the Pharisees) turned the Jewish Temple into a den of thieves. They used the Father’s House as a place of business…to charge ppl expensive prices to purchase animal sacrifices.
Because I’m filled with the same Holy Spirit that filled Christ when He cleaned out the Jewish Temple, I too, feel righteous indignation towards sin, and the merchandising of my Father’s House (the Body of Christ). It is impossible to be full of the Spirit of God, and not feel ANY conviction or righteous indignation towards sin. The Holy Spirit CONVICTS of sin, He HATES sin, and He is ANGRY towards sin. If you do not feel any of these convictions towards sin, then “Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are a reprobate” (2 Corinthians 13:5).

Once again, it all comes back to a person’s FRUIT, and the fruit of Glen Staples’ is bad. I have personally experienced meetings at the TOP, and closely examined/tested his sermons…so I know that TOP meetings are heretical, and they’re sliding further and further away from the truth. If Glen Staples were full of God’s Spirit and walking in the Spirit…he would minister the unadulterated Word of God in fellowship. But he simply does not. He gets in the pulpit and mixes the truth with error.

If Glen Staples, Cornell West, and Steve Harvey repent (turn away from sin and turn to God), and believe/trust/obey the Gospel of Jesus Christ…God has Eternal Life in store for them. But if they don’t repent and believe/trust/obey the Gospel of Jesus Christ…God has hell in store for them, then the Lake of Fire. “He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” (Jesus Christ, Revelations 21:7-8)

Is Glen Staples Being Used by the God of Scripture?--A CLAUSE

Firstly, Glen Staples is an unclean vessel, and God does not use unclean vessels. He will only use a clean vessel: “All who belong to the Lord must turn away from sin. In a great house some vessels are made of gold and silver, and some are made of wood and clay. The expensive vessels are for honor, and the cheap vessels are for dishonor. If you cleanse yourself from sin, you will be a special vessel for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work.” (2 Timothy 2:19-21) “They (evil-doers) profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and DISQUALIFIED for every good work.” (Titus 1:16)
Secondly, the duty of a preacher is to GO INTO THE WORLD and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost. They are not supposed to BRING THE LOST INTO FELLOWSHIP WITH THE SAINTS and give them a platform to speak error from their depraved heart and mind. Nowhere in the Gospels do we see the apostles bringing unbelievers into the fellowship and giving them a platform to speak error. The apostles WENT TO PUBLIC PLACES and preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost. They were more similar to modern-day street preachers. Thirdly, 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 says that the saints MUST NOT have unequally yoked fellowship/partnership/communion with the lost/unbelievers: “Don’t team up with those who are unbelievers. How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness? What harmony can there be between Christ and the devil? How can a believer be a partner with an unbeliever? And what union can there be between God’s temple and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God said: “I will live in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people. Therefore, come out from among unbelievers, and separate yourselves from them, says the Lord.

Instead of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with Cornell West and Steve Harvey and telling them to repent…Glen Staples and TOP have INVITED Cornell West and Steve Harvey into fellowship and given them a platform to speak error. That is rebellion, and God will not operate in rebellion…but seducing spirits will.

You are incorrect. Many saints in Scripture were poor. Some were financially wealthy. In the book of Ecclesiastes (which was written by Solomon), Solomon wrote that at the end of his life, after gathering many riches to himself, he learned that accumulating great wealth was VAIN/VANITY. If you have not studied Ecclesiastes, I highly recommend that you do.

YOU SAID: “MAYBE YOU LEFT TOO SOON, BECAUSE HE HAS BEEN PREACHING ON HOLINESS FOR A MINUTE NOW.”
You are incorrect and deceived. TOP members have been uploading entire sermons by Glen Staples to the internet, and he is preaching less and less sound doctrine, and more and more error. For example, in a sermon entitled “authority and submission” Glen Staples twisted Scriptures regarding Moses, Miriam, and Aaron, and took them WAY out of context. He misused God’s Holy Word to manipulate and control the congregation, so that they would not listen to the concerns of Christians outside of TOP. The tactic that Glen Staples used is very common among wolves in sheep’s clothing. It is called “suppression of criticism” or “controlling the flow of information.” If I may briefly explain what this tactic is and why wolves in sheep’s clothing use it…
Wolves in sheep’s clothing seem very nice, and they have charming, electric, charismatic personalities. They are often good speakers and they are very intelligent. Wolves are strategic. Nothing that they do in front of their followers is on accident. Their body language, words, and even tone of voice are carefully calculated to obtain the desired affect or influence on their followers. This is manipulation and witchcraft.
Wolves in sheep’s clothing have a form of godliness, but they deny the power. Their form of godliness is their SHEEP’S CLOTHING. Remember…in the Bible, God symbolizes His holy saints as SHEEP. So wolves disguise themselves in sheep’s clothing to look holy and meek…but it is only a FORM. In Matthew 7:15-20, Jesus said that wolves in sheep’s clothing are RAVENOUS on the inside. Ravenous means “greedy, extremely hungry, starved, devouring, fierce, savage, and having a violent appetite.” This is their true nature, and we can discern this true nature if we look closely at their FRUIT (teachings, traditions, lifestyle, and behavior).
One of the characteristics of wolves in sheep’s clothing is that they LOVE money. They gain enormous financial wealth by attracting crowds to THEMSELVES (not Jesus) but THEMSELVES (their churches/ministries). Wolves start off teaching a lot of truth…this attracts true Christians to them and unsaved ppl who want to be born again. The followers give the wolf money (tithes, offerings, love gifts, etc). Then once the wolf has a large following and he feels more confident, comfortable, authoritative, and financially powerful…he “lets his hair down” (so to speak) and begins to teach less truth with more lies mixed in. Now that he has deceived ppl in the church, he begins to team up with false teachers and celebrities in the world to gain wealth from ppl in the world…he wants a secular audience…the church was just his training ground.
The true nature of a wolf is evil. Their fruit is BAD/Satanic, and they work VERY hard to keep ppl from seeing their true nature, exposing them, and questioning them. So wolves create a defense system by surrounding themselves with 2 types of ppl: 1) Insecure-gullible people who will believe the wolf’s lies and do anything to please the wolf and gain his approval. 2) People who are JUST AS WICKED as the wolf, and therefore will not rebuke or expose him, because they are just as evil. Wolves in sheep’s clothing keep these 2 types of ppl around them as “armor-bearers, ministry assistants, secretaries, spiritual sons, and spiritual daughters.” Wolves claim that they are “accountable” to their “spiritual covering” or “spiritual father”…but in reality, their spiritual covering or spiritual father is just another WOLF. Wolves run in packs. They stick together and cover up behind one another’s dirt…they are not accountable to one another, and they do not rebuke one another. They do conferences together and make money off of one another’s followers.
Now let’s get into the tactic called “suppression of criticism.” Remember…the true nature of a wolf in sheep’s clothing is RAVENOUS. They do not want anyone to discern/notice this, talk about it, expose it, or question what they say and do. The wolf does not want to be discerned/noticed, exposed, or questioned…because he will lose followers…and if he loses followers, he will lose MONEY, and wolves LOVE money. So…in order to suppress or SILENCE his followers from critiquing or biblically criticizing his teachings, traditions, lifestyle, and behavior…wolves get in the pulpit and preach sermons that DISCOURAGE or FORBID their followers from using discernment, questioning them, judging their FRUIT, rebuking them, or exposing sin. Wolves do this by taking Scriptures out of context, twisting Scriptures, adding to God’s Word, and taking away from God’s Word…in order to create sermons that threaten, belittle, manipulate, intimidate, guilt, and pump unholy fear of MAN into their followers. They get in the pulpit and say things like “Touch not God’s anointed and do My prophets no harm!” (but they are actually taking this Scripture WAY out of context). Wolves say “God gave Miriam leprosy for speaking against Moses & He’ll curse you if you put your mouth on the man of God!” They arrogantly put themselves on MOSES’ level (even though they are WOLVES, on Satan’s level), then they say that anyone who questions them, or speaks against their SINS will be cursed by God (that is just FALSE. God does not curse saints for speaking against WOLVES! Hello??). Their body language, words, and even tone of voice are carefully calculated to obtain the desired affect or influence on their followers. This is manipulation and witchcraft.
Wolves in sheep’s clothing have a form of godliness, but they deny the power. Their form of godliness is their SHEEP’S CLOTHING. Remember…in the Bible, God symbolizes His holy saints as SHEEP. So wolves disguise themselves in sheep’s clothing to look holy and meek…but it is only a FORM. In Matthew 7:15-20, Jesus said that wolves in sheep’s clothing are RAVENOUS on the inside. Ravenous means “greedy, extremely hungry, starved, devouring, fierce, savage, and having a violent appetite.” This is their true nature, and we can discern this true nature if we look closely at their FRUIT (teachings, traditions, lifestyle, and behavior).
One of the characteristics of wolves in sheep’s clothing is that they LOVE money. They gain enormous financial wealth by attracting crowds to THEMSELVES (not Jesus) but THEMSELVES (their churches/ministries). Wolves start off teaching a lot of truth…this attracts true Christians to them and unsaved ppl who want to be born again. The followers give the wolf money (tithes, offerings, love gifts, etc). Now that he has deceived ppl in the church, he begins to team up with false teachers and celebrities in the world to gain wealth from ppl in the world…he wants a secular audience…the church was just his training ground.
The true nature of a wolf is evil. Their fruit is BAD/Satanic, and they work VERY hard to keep ppl from seeing their true nature, exposing them, and questioning them. Paul was ashamed that they had not handled this matter on their own…but instead they were puffed up, when they should’ve been ashamed that someone in their fellowship was sleeping around. To be “faultless” according to God’s Word, is to be blameless (i.e. upright). Read the following passages: “And they [Zachariah & Elizabeth] were both righteous before God, walking in ALL the commandments and ordinances of the Lord BLAMELESS.” (Luke 1:6).
“An elder/bishop then MUST BE BLAMELESS, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach” (1 Timothy 3:2)
“Wherefore, beloved, seeing that you look for such things, be diligent that you may be found of him in peace, without spot, and BLAMELESS (2 Peter 3:14). “Now to Him [JESUS] who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you FAULTLESS before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,” (Jude 1:24)
Someone who is faultless/blameless is righteous. They do not practice sin, because Jesus has set them free from sin. And He whom the Son sets free is free indeed. They have TRUE freedom in Christ, freedom from SIN. Sin does not rule over them…Christ does. And because Christ rules their mind and heart, He produces His good fruit in their life. No one should be able to look at the life of a born again Christian and be able to find a SERIOUS/GROSS fault in their life. But instead, good fruit should be found, to testify of their repentance, conversion, and belief/trust/obedience to the Gospel. This is God’s will for ALL saints, especially ELDERS/PASTORS.
As wonderful as David was, he was not born again…because Christ had not come yet and given the Holy Spirit. David’s heart was not circumcised by the Holy Spirit, although he saw prophetically into the future when God would do this in the New Covenant. David committed adultery and murdered Bathsheba’s husband…because he was not born again and he was in rebellion at that time. It makes no sense for a NEW COVENANT CHRISTIAN (who is allegedly born again) to REACH INTO THE PAST, INTO DAVID’S LIFE, and say “David sinned! To be “faultless” according to God’s Word, is to be blameless (i.e. upright). Read the following passages: “And they [Zachariah & Elizabeth] were both righteous before God, walking in ALL the commandments and ordinances of the Lord BLAMELESS.” (Luke 1:6).
“An elder/bishop then MUST BE BLAMELESS, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach” (1 Timothy 3:2)
“Wherefore, beloved, seeing that you look for such things, be diligent that you may be found of him in peace, without spot, and BLAMELESS (2 Peter 3:14). “Now to Him [JESUS] who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you FAULTLESS before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,” (Jude 1:24)
Someone who is faultless/blameless is righteous. They do not practice sin, because Jesus has set them free from sin. And He whom the Son sets free is free indeed. They have TRUE freedom in Christ, freedom from SIN. Sin does not rule over them…Christ does. And because Christ rules their mind and heart, He produces His good fruit in their life. No one should be able to look at the life of a born again Christian and be able to find a SERIOUS/GROSS fault in their life. But instead, good fruit should be found, to testify of their repentance, conversion, and belief/trust/obedience to the Gospel. This is God’s will for ALL saints, especially ELDERS/PASTORS.
As wonderful as David was, he was not born again…because Christ had not come yet and given the Holy Spirit. David’s heart was not circumcised by the Holy Spirit, although he saw prophetically into the future when God would do this in the New Covenant. David committed adultery and murdered Bathsheba’s husband…because he was not born again and he was in rebellion at that time. It makes no sense for a NEW COVENANT CHRISTIAN (who is allegedly born again) to REACH INTO THE PAST, INTO DAVID’S LIFE, and say “David sinned! So it’s okay if my bishop sins too!” NO….it’s not okay if a “bishop” teams up with the world and throws a “holy” convocation, because God has given elders a HIGHER STANDARD and a HIGHER CALLING than David. David was called to keep the Old Covenant…but Christians have been given JESUS, the NEW COVENANT, and the HOLY SPIRIT. And to whom much is given, MUCH is required. So you cannot reach into the past, into the life of David, Samson, Solomon, or Moses and say “they sinned! If you read the Gospel accounts, you will see that Christ walked up to Levi/Matthew (who worked at a tax collector booth) while he was working, and Christ told Levi/Matthew “follow Me”…and Levi/Matthew “left ALL & followed Jesus.” That same evening, Levi/Matthew invited Jesus to his house for dinner. Why? Because Levi/Matthew wanted his sinner friends to be ministered to by Jesus as well! He wanted His friends to hear Jesus preach the Gospel and perhaps be saved…this was wonderful! So Christ went to Levi/Matthew’s house for dinner, and He was sitting and ministering to Levi/Matthew and his sinner friends. Some Pharisees and scribes were there as well, and they said to Christ’s disciples “why does your Master eat with sinners?” Then Christ said “Those who are well do not need a doctor, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous to repentance, but sinners.” Christ was being sarcastic with the Pharisees and scribes, because they were not WELL and they were NOT righteous LOL They were spiritually sick, blind, and depraved. Yet they looked down on the sinners who Christ was ministering to, when in fact, the Pharisees needed Jesus just as badly. They were just as sinful, as a matter of fact…they were worse! Because they claimed to be religious authorities (like many in leadership today) and experts on God’s law, when they didn’t even understand it or obey it. Hosea 4:6 says “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” You misused this Scripture to say that God’s ppl perish for lack of WORLDLY knowledge? That is amazing. Cornell West is destroyed for lack of knowledge of God, so how can he teach the saints?

I acquired male and female servants, and had servants born in my house. Yes, I had greater possessions of herds and flocks than all who were in Jerusalem before me. 8 I also gathered for myself silver and gold and the special treasures of kings and of the provinces. I acquired male and female singers, the delights of the sons of men, and musical instruments of all kinds. So I became great and excelled more than all who were before me in Jerusalem. So God told Moses to tell the ppl to MOVE AWAY from the tents of Korah, because He was going to open up the earth beneath Korah’s tent, swallow up Korah and his family ALIVE, and take them down to HELL—ALIVE. THOUSANDS of Israelites were so HEAVILY influenced by Korah, that they didn’t move away from his tent…so God opened up the earth and swallowed ALL OF THEM alive, and took them down to hell alive. So you see….God judged the Israelites who decided to support Korah and associate with him.. He told them to MOVE AWAY from Korah, because Korah was a rebel. The prophetic function of Moses and the high priesthood of Aaron were POINTING TO the prophetic function of Christ and the High Priesthood of Christ. So when Korah rebelled against Moses and Aaron, it was symbolic of church leadership who rebel against Jesus. When Korah went after Moses’ and Aaron’s position over Israel, it was symbolic of church leadership who go after Christ’s position as THE HIGH PROPHET and HIGH PRIEST over SPIRITUAL Israel (the body of Christ). Please do not try to justify the wickedness of Glen Staples by bringing up that Peter cursed BEFORE he was born again. That is incorrect.

If you want an Old Testament type of false leadership….look to king Saul or Jezebel…they are more accurate comparisons for Glen Staples.

The world is under the influence of the wicked one (Satan, the god of this world). One day God is going to burn the world with fire, and cast the wicked into the lake of fire. The only thing that will remain is those who are perfect as the Heavenly Father is perfect: “I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.” (Genesis 17:1) “Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.” (Genesis 6:9) “But the high places were not removed: nevertheless Asa's heart was perfect with the LORD all his days.” (1 King 15:14) “There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.” (Job 1:1) “But let patience have [her] perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” (James 1:4)

I returned to the TOP website to contend for the faith for the same reason that Paul returned to the Jewish synagogues…to preach the Gospel, exhort, rebuke, and correct with all long-suffering. I do not believe that everyone at TOP is born again, but I do believe that a few of them are, and it is my hope that even a few of them will repent and believe the Gospel, and be saved out of sin, and from the wrath of God’s judgment. The love of God compels me….but if you don’t know God, then you will not recognize His love pleading with you, throug His servants.

Blind followers who are willing to defend false prophets and murder God’s servants are nothing new. Historically speaking, most of the prophets and apostles were persecuted and murdered by wicked religious Israelites who defended their false religious systems. Jesus said,
“And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” (Matthew 10:28)
“I am shocked that you are turning away so soon from God, who called you to himself through the loving mercy of Christ. You are following a different way that pretends to be the Gospel but is not the Gospel at all. You are being fooled by those who deliberately twist the truth concerning Christ. Let God’s curse fall on anyone, including us or even an angel from heaven, who preaches a different kind of Gospel than the one we preached to you. I say again what we have said before: If anyone preaches any other Gospel than the one you welcomed, let that person be cursed. Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.” (Galatians 1:6-10)
