"JANE DOE'S" 1st FACEBOOK MESSAGE (UNCUT)

LISTED BELOW IS THE INITIAL LETTER "JANE DOE," A DISGRUNTLED MEMBER OF THE TEMPLE OF PRAISE RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATION SENT ME ON FACEBOOK? AS YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SEE, I DID NOT EDIT NOR DID I TAKE ANYTHING SHE MENTIONED IN HER LETTER OUT OF CONTEXT IN MY 18-PART RESPONSE, WHICH IS WHAT SHE NOW CLAIMS AFTER SEEING MY RESPONSE TO HER. IT’S JUST SO TYPICAL OF DILUTED PEOPLE WHO DON’T WANNA FESS UP TO THE TRUTH TO DEFLECT FROM IT BY WAY OF USING THE WHOLE, “OOOH YOU TOOK MY WORDS OUT OF CONTEXT” COP-OUT. WUUUDEVER.

" A few questions for you: How do you know the relationship with God that these people have? How do you know that God is not dealing with them? How do you know what they are going to the Temple to talk about? What are you really angry about? How do you know what the Bishop's meetings are about? How do you know what God has in store for these “men of the world”? How do you know that God is not using The Honorable Bishop Glen A. Staples to get these men saved if they aren’t? Zechariah 9:1The burden of the word of the LORD in the land of Hadrach, and Damascus [shall be] the rest thereof: when the eyes of man, as of all the tribes of Israel, [shall be] toward the LORD. That is exactly what’s happening now. Even the heathen is looking to and for God. Science, as futile as their attempt may be, are trying to PROVE His existence by their means. The eyes of man…AND Israel. Every knee shall bow and Every tongue shall confess that He is God, whether they believe it right now or not!You keep addressing what you aren't trying to do, but that's exactly what you are doing. If you’re not guilty of these things that you say that you’re not doing, why address it? Someone told me that the guilty always speak. No where in the Word of God does it say that God is with them if they have wealth? Why is it that every man that is spoken of in the Bible was wealthy? That’s not a Glen Staples teaching, that’s common, God given sense. David was a KING, and people are still searching for Solomon’s treasures. Maybe you left too soon, because he has been preaching on holiness for a minute now. You have the spirit of the Pharisee wherein you keep going on what you THINK the people of God are or are not doing, but read the story of the publican and the Pharisee. Luke 18:14. Which one are you? Who are you to examine someone else's fruit or lack thereof? Paul spoke about restoring the one who falls, not kicking them out. You don't know what is going on and Bishop Glen A. Staples cannot remove anyone's anointing from them. He is doing what he is supposed to and that is to love them into submission. You don’t know if they’re rebuked after doing something stupid. I had the same issue until I found out that people do get in trouble, however, it is God who punishes, not the church. He didn’t take the crown from David, but He did give him consequences for he did not get to build the Temple like he was supposed to. Moses was so much a man of God, despite his attitude problem that God struck Miriam with leprosy for talking bad about Moses. Moses didn’t see the promised land and those were his consequences. You know so much about the Bible, but who that was great in God was faultless? Are you faultless? Are you working out YOUR OWN SALVATION so that you won't be overcome by the same things that you're accusing the Bishop or anyone else of? We are not to be of the world, but who is going to save the world if we don't go into it? Jesus didn't hang with the Pharisee and Sadducee, He hung with sinners and was talked about for doing it. Matthew 11:18&1918For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, 'He has a demon.' 19The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, 'Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and "sinners." ' But wisdom is proved right by her actions."I am in no way comparing Bishop Staples with Jesus, but we are to live as He did—to look like Him when the Father looks down at us, and one of the things that He did was kick it with sinners in an attempt to win them over to God. Paul said that he became all things to all people for the purposes of God. 1Corinthians 9:19-23 19Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. 20To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. 21To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God's law but am under Christ's law), so as to win those not having the law. 22To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. 23I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings. You have to meet them where they are. You do not just throw people away because they don't live the way that YOU don't think that they should. The meeting of the people of God is not always going to be about God in that there are other things to talk about. One thing is to be educated and that is one thing that Cornell West is…educated. God said that His people perish for a lack of knowledge. Bishop is to teach us the Word, maybe Dr. West is there to teach something else. And before you get to yapping about what’s going on at the Temple…people that can’t afford to pay for the convocation can still come, and sweetie, I am not in a recession. You may be broke, but God is supplying all my needs according to His RICHES in Glory. I don’t even make a lot of money, but I can afford to pay for myself and someone else to go to this “unholy convocation”. We are not in Ancient Israel. It costs to do stuff now. You know the Word…money answereth all things. At the end of the day, we, even as members of the Temple of Praise are not going to be judged for whatever it is that you THINK Bishop Glen A. Staples is or is not doing. I do not follow Bishop Glen A. Staples, I follow the God that I see in him. If there is something that is said that is not of God, me, having the Spirit of God myself, will know and can rightly divide the Word of Truth. Even Peter said some stuff that he wasn’t supposed to say and did some stuff that he wasn’t supposed to do, but Jesus still built His church upon him. We are accountable for our own actions and so are you. Bishop does not teach us to act a monkey and as a member, I refuse to give you fuel. Those people who cussed you out are angry…I am too, but I can better express myself without using those words. No diss to my Temple Members, but you know that Bishop would not condone any of that. I’m angry, but I’m scared for you, Miriam. I believe that Bishop says to keep your mouth off of the man of God for several reasons, one being that YOU RUN FOLK AWAY FROM THE CHURCH AS A WHOLE WHEN YOU KEEP “EXPOSING” PEOPLE. Duuh, all of this is just fuel for those who want God but can’t seem to find Him because of the “sin” of the church. WELL, PEOPLE MAKE UP THE CHURCH!!!! And since Jesus is the only one that lived that was faultless, we’re just going to have to wait a while for a perfect world. Wow, this was long, but I just want to ask you a couple more questions: 1. Who did it? Who made you so angry that left, but still come from time to time and check the site, etc? Seems to me that someone who had so much disdain for The Temple would stay completely away from it.2. What do you think will happen from this? There are people out here that are like minded, but there are also people who are “descendents of Peter” who will hurt you for their Bishop’s sake. Not a threat by any means, just saying that since you were a member, you know how people feel about their Bishop.I’m praying that you are really sent of God because if you’re not and God is really on Bishops side…God Bless you and I hope you don’t delete this simply because it isn’t in agreement with what you’re pushing. "JANE DOE'S" 2nd FACEBOOK MESSAGE (UNCUT)

I ONLY RESPONDED TO THE INITIAL EMAIL "JANE DOE" SENT ME IN THE DETAILED MATTER IN WHICH YOU SEE BELOW, DIRECTLY FOLLOWING MY INTRODUCTION ON THIS DISCUSSION. THEREFORE, YOU WILL NOT SEE A "DIRECT" ADDRESS TO ANYTHING SHE "SPECIFICALLY" STATES IN THIS SECOND EMAIL.

THIS MESSAGE WAS SENT TO ME ONLY AFTER I BREIFLY RESPONDED BACK TO THE INITIAL FB MESSAGE, LETTING MS. DOE KNOW THAT I WOULD GET BACK TO HER SHORTLY WITH A DETAIL RESPONSE TO "ALL" OF HER CONCERNS ADDRESSED IN THE INTIAL FB MESSAGE . IN THAT RESPONSE, I DID HOWEVER ANSWER "SOME" OF THE QUESTIONS AND KINDLY EXPLAINED TO MS. DOE THAT I WAS NOT ABLE TO RESPOND TO "ALL" OF HER QUESTIONS THE WAY I WANTED TO AT THAT TIME. MS. DOE THEN MADE THE ASSUMPTION THAT I WAS SIMPLY STALLING HERE AND FURTHERMORE ASSUMED THAT AT THAT POINT, WHATEVER I HAD TO SAY IN RESPONSE TO HER MANY QUESTIONS, WERE NO LONGER WORTHY OF HER ATTENTION.

AFTER READING THIS SECOND FB MESSAGE THAT YOU ARE ALSO ABOUT TO READ, I REALIZED THEN THAT MS. DOE'S INTENT IN SENDING THE INITIAL MESSAGE WAS NEVER TO ASK ME QUESTIONS SHE SINCERELY WANTED TO HAVE ANSWERED, BUT MERELY TO TAKE ON A SNIDE AND CRAFTY TONE IN SPEWING OUT VEILED INSULTS WHILE ATTEMPTING TO GIVE ME A PIECE OF HER MIND, LIKE SO MANY OTHER DISGRUNTLED T.O.P. MEMBERS HAVE ALREADY DONE. NOW TELL ME, IS THAT WHAT THE LORD COMMANDS? HE SAID TO ALWAYS BE READY TO LISTEN, SLOW TO SPEAK, SLOW TO ANGER AND ALWAYS READY FOR RECONCILIATION, BUT MS. DOE IN HER IMPATIENCE TOWARDS ME FOR NOT ANSWERING HER QUESTIONS IN THE TIMEFRAME “SHE" SAW FIT, SAID THE FOLLOWING:
.................................................................................................................................................................... FROM: "JANE DOE"

DATE: September 19 at 9:17pm Report

" None of my questions were rhetorical. I really want you to answer them. And you did answer one of them. You don't know these folks personally so you don't know what they're going through with God. Bishop Staples is not doing anything wrong by GETTING THESE MEN IN A CHURCH. You don't know what God is going to do with this situation. The gifts of God are without repentance so even if they are not born again, doesn't negate the fact that they have something God given that the People of God can benefit from.Matthew 7 says that their fruit will show who they are, but that is not saying that we will know their hearts. Whether Steve Harvey's jokes are dirty or not, doesn't make them any less true. What he talks about is true. Peter cursed and was violent but God still revealed His truth to him and him only. All you have on Steve Harvey is his cussing andhis issue about his ex and new wife. If that was pre his acknowledgement of Christ then its null and void. You have become so high minded that you can't even see the fault in what you are doing. We are to be indignant about sin, no doubt about it, but how does anyone come out of it if we stick our noses so far up in the air that we can't see when they're crying for help? Did you read the story FROM THE MOUTH OF YESHUA, about the Publican and the Pharisee? Do you know who you are in that story? It kills me how folk come to the point where they think they've arrived and are sinless...Are you sinless, Saranne? Seriously, that question is not rhetorical either. Even if you don't involve yourself in anything fleshly, your attitude toward these men is sinful. Yes it is. The healthy don't need a physician. Do you not go to a doctor because they're profession is considered by some to be playing God? I was too at a point, where I looked at folk crazy when they did this or that and I found out about it. I have BIG problems with adulterers and abusers of the bretheren, however, I still have fault. May not be the same fault as theirs, but fault nonetheless. And when I got to the point also, that I tried to do EVERYTHING right, I ended up angry and mean. Why? Because its almost impossible. I may not do anything with my hands, but my mind may go wherever it wants to. What I'm trying to get you to understand is that there is nothing that you can do or say that will get me to believe that Bishop's getting these so called sinners in a church is wrong. That's how I see it. Maybe I'm stupid, but I think that God can turn a nasty situation into a beautiful one. They may get filled with the Holy Ghost and "turn from their wicked ways". The New Testament is also full of writings and stories about sinners being used. What was Paul's thorn, Saranne? In so many words, God told him not to even worry about it. To continue to live for and acknowledge Him and everything will be alright. Cornell West knows what Bishop believes of Christ; they've met. You don't know what God is doing with them even now as they prepare to come. All you know is what you see. Have faith that God has this thing under control. At the end of the day, I'm not even worried about what you say of Bishop, Dr. West, or Mr. Harvey, what I'm worried about and what I think you fail to see is what this does to the Body of Christ as a whole. This just gave another waverer reason not to join ANY church. The Temple of Praise is not the only church, but now someone isn't going to go to any church. As long as we call ourselves "contending for the faith" no one will get any, for faith cometh by hearing and that by the Word of God and how can they hear if there be no preacher? If we took everyone out of the church that committed a sin, there would be no one in the building. You don't have to like what's going on at the Temple. If you don't like it, don't come, but don't hinder anyone else from coming to Christ whether it be by way of The Temple or some other house. No need to address anything else I said, I'm done. I just thought I'd be polite and reply to your message. I understand your issues with what's going on and I don't want you to think that I do, but consider yourself before you get on someone else. Seriously. This is not to sweep under the rug what others do, but what really can we do about it? Like I said, if we remove all that do something, then we won't have anyone. "

INTRODUCTION

Grace, peace, and mercy be on to you from God the Father and my Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ!

I have been inundated with a multitude of emails from disgruntled Temple Of Praise members and Glen Staples sympathizers within the last three weeks. What I have noticed in these messages is that they all seem to follow a steady pattern, tone, and purpose. In addition, I seem to be asked the same types of questions in varying form:

"Why are you doing this to us?"

"Why do you disrespect the man of God [Glen Staples]?"

"Why are you so bitter?"

"Who did it, who hurt you?"

"What do you think will become of this stunt you've pulled?"

"You know, there are some people who will hurt you over "their bishop?"

etc, etc...

Therefore, I have put together this blog to function as a ‘Q & A’ for those who are curious to know where I stand and why I have done this, which according to the Word of God (not Glen Staples), is a good deed (Eph 5:11-12). I understand that my expose' (on Glen Staples, his theology, and "his" brand of “how to do church”) is unorthodox according to the traditions regarding protocol in the “institutional/organized” church. For hundreds of years, "lay people" have been held hostage by the fallacy that says if they are to ever question, much less hold officials in the institution accountable to the Word of God, God would punish them. CONTRARY TO POPULAR BELIEF, there is NO ordinance in the Word of God, which teaches that only a person with a ministerial "office" (which in actuality should be viewed and treated as a function, but that is another blog…) are the only ones qualified to hold others with ministerial positioning accountable for their sins. That could not be farther from the truth beloved.

Furthermore, I have found that through the centuries, from the time Constantine made Christianity the state religion of Rome in the 4th century up until now, the institutional/ organized church has nurtured a specific depraved mindset that has had devastating effects on the body of Christ as a whole. This catastrophic mindset has become a culture known among many Christians, even if they are not conscience of it, as the “DON’T ASK, DON’T TELL” attitude. I have seen this attitude manifested in the culture and even as a mantra among many who belong to the institutional church system, especially the "mega churches" (which will be another blog coming up soon). This subversive mindset has become pervasive in the institutional/organized church. Consequently, it has greatly injured the faith of many, even to the point of causing total derailment of ones faith in the TRUE Lord Jesus Christ (not that distorted one that ppl like Glen Staples promulgates...).

This attitude/culture/mantra has also lead to departure from the true Gospel thereby leading to the adoption of the counterfeit version (A.K.A. the gospel of licentiousness). This attitude/ culture/ mantra has been the catalyst by which many heretical teachings, practices, and rituals have been established. Therefore, I am making a battle cry in saying--THIS CULTURAL MINDSET MUST BE IRRADICATED from among the people of God. The only way to do this is to expose it and the heresies it incubates.

What I will attempt to present here, is a concise, cohesive, coherent, and consistent response to typical questions like the ones listed above that have been raised surrounding the Youtube videos I have recently uploaded to Youtube regarding the "2009 Holy Convocation" as sponsored by the Temple Of Praise, Glen A. Staples. This will be done to the best of my ability as the Holy Spirit gives me grace and holy wisdom to present a sound biblical response and analysis to the questions raised by "Ms. Jane Doe" of the Temple Of Praise.

"Jane Doe" is merely a pseudonym employed here to protect the identity of a particular member of the Temple of Praise who took the time to send me two lengthy emails laying out her resentment towards the notion of me holding "her bishop" (Glen Staples) accountable for his rogue practices and "personal brand" of the gospel. Please note that the actual email message sent by Ms. Jane Doe, will be posted in its entirety, and UNREVISED FORM in a separate blog at a later time (please look for it).

IN THE FUTURE:

Please look for blogs I will post, in which I will analyze Glen Staples’ theology, the Word Of Faith Movement, Prosperity Gospel, Seeker Sensitive Movement, and the emergence of “new thought,” i.e. “new ageism” in the church. All are concepts that have been espoused by Glen Staples and incorporated into TOP's by laws and belief systems.

Lastly...

'He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches...' Rev 3:22

God bless!

When the Saints Yoke Themselves Together With Unbelievers--A CLAUSE

Hello “Jane” {=~ )

YOU SAID: “HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT GOD IS NOT DEALING WITH THEM?”

I know that God is dealing with someone or not by their FRUIT.
If someone is filled with the Holy Spirit and walking in the Spirit, the Holy Spirit will produce His good fruit in them: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” (Galatians 5:22-25)
If someone isn’t filled with the Holy Spirit and they’re walking in the flesh, their sinful nature will produce the works of the flesh in them: “Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. “ (Galatians 5:19-21)
“You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.” (Jesus Christ, Matthew 7:16-20)
“Either makes the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit.”(Jesus Christ, Matthew 12:33)
“For a good tree does not bear bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. For every tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush.” (Jesus Christ, Luke 6:43-44)

YOU SAID: “HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO THE TEMPLE TO TALK ABOUT?”

Based on the fruit test set forth in God’s Word…Glen Staples, Cornell West, and Steve Harvey are bad trees (evil men). And Christ said to a group of evil men “Brood of vipers [i.e., children of the serpent/devil]! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.” (Matthew 12:34-35)
Christ asked a group of evil men, how they could speak good things, since they had evil hearts…because it is out of the heart that the mouth speaks. Good men (out of the good stored up in their hearts) speak good things, but evil men (out of the evil stored up in their hearts) speak evil things.
Therefore, I do not need to be psychic to know that Glen Staples, Cornell West, and Steve Harvey will talk about evil things (false doctrine) at the convocation. I can know beforehand that they will speak evil things out of the abundance of their evil hearts. How can they, being evil, speak good things?? Can a thorny bush bring forth figs? No.

When the Saints Yoke Themselves together With Unbelievers--B CLAUSE

...Continued:

YOU SAID: “WHAT ARE YOU REALLY ANGRY ABOUT?”
God is love, and an aspect of God’s love is righteous indignation (holy anger) towards sin, especially the merchandising of His House (the Body of Christ). We see an example of righteous indignation in Mark 11:15-18. It says “So they [Christ & His disciples] came to Jerusalem. Then Jesus went into the temple and began to drive out those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. And He would not allow anyone to carry wares through the temple. Then He taught, saying to them, “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’” And the scribes and chief priests heard it and sought how they might destroy Him; for they feared Him, because all the people were astonished at His teaching.”

-Christ loves the Father, and He loves His ppl…because of this He felt righteous indignation towards the merchandising that took place in the Jewish Temple.

The Jewish Temple should’ve been a House of prayer for all nations, but instead, the religious leadership who ran the temple (the Pharisees) turned the Jewish Temple into a den of thieves. They used the Father’s House as a place of business…to charge ppl expensive prices to purchase animal sacrifices.

Because I’m filled with the same Holy Spirit that filled Christ when He cleaned out the Jewish Temple, I too, feel righteous indignation towards sin, and the merchandising of my Father’s House (the Body of Christ). It is impossible to be full of the Spirit of God, and not feel ANY conviction or righteous indignation towards sin. The Holy Spirit CONVICTS of sin, He HATES sin, and He is ANGRY towards sin. If you do not feel any of these convictions towards sin, then “Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are a reprobate” (2 Corinthians 13:5).

YOU SAID: “HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE BISHOP'S MEETINGS ARE ABOUT?”

Once again, it all comes back to a person’s FRUIT, and the fruit of Glen Staples’ is bad. I have personally experienced meetings at the TOP, and closely examined/tested his sermons…so I know that TOP meetings are heretical, and they’re sliding further and further away from the truth. If Glen Staples were full of God’s Spirit and walking in the Spirit…he would minister the unadulterated Word of God in fellowship. But he simply does not. He gets in the pulpit and mixes the truth with error.

YOU SAID: “HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT GOD HAS IN STORE FOR THESE “MEN OF THE WORLD”?”

If Glen Staples, Cornell West, and Steve Harvey repent (turn away from sin and turn to God), and believe/trust/obey the Gospel of Jesus Christ…God has Eternal Life in store for them. But if they don’t repent and believe/trust/obey the Gospel of Jesus Christ…God has hell in store for them, then the Lake of Fire. “He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” (Jesus Christ, Revelations 21:7-8)

Is Glen Staples Being Used by the God of Scripture?--A CLAUSE

...Continued:

YOU SAID: “HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT GOD IS NOT USING THE HONORABLE BISHOP GLEN A. STAPLES TO GET THESE MEN SAVED IF THEY AREN’T?”

Firstly, Glen Staples is an unclean vessel, and God does not use unclean vessels. He will only use a clean vessel: All who belong to the Lord must turn away from sin. In a great house some vessels are made of gold and silver, and some are made of wood and clay. The expensive vessels are for honor, and the cheap vessels are for dishonor. If you cleanse yourself from sin, you will be a special vessel for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work.” (2 Timothy 2:19-21) “They (evil-doers) profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and DISQUALIFIED for every good work.” (Titus 1:16)
Secondly, the duty of a preacher is to GO INTO THE WORLD and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost. They are not supposed to BRING THE LOST INTO FELLOWSHIP WITH THE SAINTS and give them a platform to speak error from their depraved heart and mind. Nowhere in the Gospels do we see the apostles bringing unbelievers into the fellowship and giving them a platform to speak error. The apostles WENT TO PUBLIC PLACES and preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost. They were more similar to modern-day street preachers. Thirdly, 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 says that the saints MUST NOT have unequally yoked fellowship/partnership/communion with the lost/unbelievers: “Don’t team up with those who are unbelievers. How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness? What harmony can there be between Christ and the devil? How can a believer be a partner with an unbeliever? And what union can there be between God’s temple and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God said: “I will live in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people. Therefore, come out from among unbelievers, and separate yourselves from them, says the Lord.
